We offer a number of courses to our clients, both accredited and non-accredited, meaning we can service all of Northern Ireland, and cater for our clients specific needs.


We are a team of fully accredited instructors, providing high quality props and interactive sessions, so as to allow our clients to get the most out of a Keepabeat First Aid session and ensure they have the chance to memorise these life-saving skills.

Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (FAW) - 3 day course

Accredited & Regulated Level 3 Award  – Certificate valid for 3 years.

Bolt-on sessions for EFAW 

 

KeepaBeat have designed “bolt-on sessions” for schools and for sports coach/ trainers. 

 

This will require additional time to be added to the end of the EFAW course, as it cannot be completed within the 6 hours EFAW course.  

 

The bolt-on certificate is an awareness certificate not a regulated qualification.

Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid Certificate (PFA) - 12 hour course 

Accredited & Regulated Level 3 Award  – Certificate valid for 3 years.

 

Suitable for Childminders, Early Years Practitioners, School staff, Teachers, or anyone wishing to complete an in-depth training course.  

 

This course is in line with current EYFS 2017 guidelines.  

 

Topics covered include: 

  • Understanding the role and responsibilities of the Paediatric First Aider
  • Assessing an emergency situation safely
  • Provision of First Aid to an infant/child who are unresponsive
  • Provision of First Aid to an infant/child who are choking

Junior Medic Training Courses - Schools

 

A specialist program aimed at children in Primary 1 – 7.

 

The Junior Medic program is delivered in short 45-60 minute sessions teaching lifesaving skills that could one day could make a huge difference in an emergency.

 

We start all schools off on the first junior medic session with a view to progressing to the junior medic Plus and junior medic Trauma sessions.
