First Aid at Work

The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work qualification is for those workplaces that have deemed themselves as high risk. 

What's covered?

This comprehensive 3-day course is made up of two units.

Unit 1-  Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work course as set out HERE.

• Responsibilities and reporting 

• Assessing the situation 

• Dealing with an unconscious casualty 

• CPR & AED 

• Seizures 

• Choking

• Minor Injuries

• Wounds and bleeding 

• Shock

• Burns 

 

Unit 2 

• Fractures

• Sprains & Strains

• Suspected Head & Spinal Injuries

• Chest Injuries 

• Severe burns and scalds

• Eye Injuries 

• Poisoning 

• Anaphylaxis 

• Heart Attack

• Stroke

• Epilepsy 

• Asthma 

• Diabetes

 

Duration: 

 

This qualification is normally delivered over 18 hours (3 days) but could be split into smaller sessions.
